Terms of Service

Last updated: August 30, 2026

Please read these terms before creating a store on Storely

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, a store, or otherwise using Storely (operated at storelybd.com and its subdomains), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use Storely.

2. What Storely Is

Storely is a multi-tenant e-commerce platform that lets Bangladeshi merchants create and run their own online stores — products, orders, courier bookings, payment collection, storefront design, and related tools — from a single dashboard. Storely provides the platform; each merchant is responsible for their own store, its products, and its customers.

Any sale made through a Storely-powered store is a contract strictly between that merchant and their customer. Storely is not a party to that sale — we don't set prices, guarantee product quality or availability, or resolve disputes between a merchant and their customer. If you're a customer with a complaint about an order, that complaint belongs with the merchant you bought from, not with Storely.

3. Your Account and Store

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Storely to:

Storely may suspend or terminate any account or store that violates these terms, with or without notice, particularly where fraud, illegal activity, or platform abuse is involved.

5. Plans, Fees, and Billing

6. Payments to Your Customers

Storely integrates with third-party payment gateways — including bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz, EPS, aamarPay, PayStation, and Pathao Pay — to help you collect payment from your own customers, alongside Cash on Delivery. Storely is not a party to the payment itself: funds move between your customer and your chosen payment provider (or courier, for COD) under that provider's own terms. You're responsible for your own compliance with the terms and conditions of any payment gateway you choose to connect.

If you choose to accept payment through a personal wallet number you manage yourself rather than a connected gateway, that transaction is strictly between you and your customer. Storely does not process, hold, verify, or guarantee that payment — you're solely responsible for confirming receipt, handling any refund or dispute with your customer, and marking the order accordingly.

7. Courier & Fulfillment

Storely integrates with third-party courier services (currently Pathao, SteadFast, RedX, Paperfly, eCourier, and Carrybee) to help you book and track deliveries. Storely is not the courier — actual pickup, delivery, and handling of parcels is performed by the courier company under their own terms and liability policies. Delivery delays, damage, or loss during transit are the courier's responsibility, not Storely's.

8. Fraud Detection Tools

Storely's fraud detection features (automatic order scoring, the manual number lookup, auto-block rules, and the free public checker at storelybd.com/fraud-checker) are provided as a decision-support tool based on aggregated courier delivery history. They are estimates, not guarantees — Storely does not guarantee that a flagged order is fraudulent or that an unflagged order is safe. The decision to ship, hold, or cancel any order remains yours.

9. Your Content and Data

You retain ownership of your store's content — product listings, images, copy, and customer data you collect. By using Storely, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate your store and provide the Storely service. You're responsible for having the rights to any content you upload, and for your own compliance with data-protection obligations toward your customers.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep Storely available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (courier APIs, payment gateways, hosting infrastructure), or events outside our control may cause temporary downtime. Current status is published at status.storelybd.com.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or store for violating these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud, or legal requirement. Upon termination, your store becomes inaccessible to customers; data is retained and then deleted per our Privacy Policy's retention schedule, except where you request earlier deletion.

12. Limitation of Liability

Storely is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storely and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost sales, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of the platform, third-party courier or payment gateway failures, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Bangladeshi law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify merchants of material changes via email or a notice in the admin dashboard. Continued use of Storely after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Storely shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
